Warren & Kathleen Herbert are the owners of Gwydir Valley Models, an Australian based specialist importer and retailer of model railways, parts and accessories. It is primarily a mail order business but they do try to meet up with customers as they attend several model railway exhibitions across the country.

Warren & Kathleen live in Glen Innes, part of the beautiful New England region of New South Wales where the business is located. Warren and Kathleen have two sons, two daughters and one grandchild. The two sons Rhett and Luke sometimes help out at the exhibitions when time permits.

Warren has been involved with model railways for most of his life, he is passionate about his hobby and is a perfectionist in whatever he undertakes. He knew that with his electronic experience and love of trains that he could provide a service to many other train lovers. Kathleen is the background support for the team and is happy in the office and making sure that everyone is fed and watered.

Warren has gathered a wealth of information over the years and has found that railway modellers to be a knowledgeable group who are happy to share ideas and skills. Warren is also the President of the New England Model Railway Club, which has a 70 strong membership and holds regular meetings and conventions across the New England.
